B4 Outdoors Board of Directors

Kevin Rhodes – President

Kevin Rhodes, who founded B4 Outdoors in 2018, currently serves as President, B4 Board of Directors. In this capacity, he has operated as the driving force behind all things B4 Outdoors. Kevin handles the day-to-day business operations and is the main guide for all hunts at our lodge in Elmer, Missouri.

B4 Outdoors has been a lifelong dream of Kevin’s. He grew up in a hunting family and has hunted his entire life, but really didn’t begin to find the call to help others through hunting and fishing until he started volunteering with several outdoor and wildlife organizations in his home state of South Carolina. His first volunteer opportunities began with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resource’s “Take One Make One” program which was designed to introduce youth to hunting and fishing. Over a 5-year period and as part of the program, Kevin mentored kids of all ages on dove, deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunts but the hunt that made most impact on him was a turkey hunt hosted by The Outdoor Dream Foundation. On the ODF turkey hunt, Kevin was tasked with guiding a young man with spina bifida who experienced mobility issues due to his illness. This opportunity and friendships opened his eyes to the lasting effect a partnered hunt could have on someone who cannot hunt by themselves. Kevin also had the pleasure of acting as a host/guide on a Wounded Warrior waterfowl hunt which paired his love on hunting with his admiration and respect for our nation’s military and veterans. These early volunteer opportunities began to stoke a fire in Kevin’s heart and led him to a career change in 2017 and the formation of B4 Outdoors one year later. Since then Kevin has grown B4 to its current mission of helping rehabilitate veterans, first responders and kids through hunting and fishing adventures.

Outside of B4 Outdoors, Kevin works in the golf industry as an assistant superintendent and spends his free time enjoying the outdoors with his two black labs, Logan and Camo! Kevin, who is a 2000 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, SC and earned a Master’s degree in 2003 graduate from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, is also passionate about college athletics, especially college football and baseball. When not in the woods either hunting or making habitat improvements, he can be found watching his beloved Tigers!
