Special Forces soldier Curtis Maphis (Pictured left) joined us for a late-season rifle hunt and even though he had an encounter with a giant 10-point, he was unable to take an ethical shot. Hence, he filled the freezer with an antlerless deer. Curtis was our first amputee to hunt at B4. He lost his leg below his knee and could rehab with a prosthetic and redeployed to Afghanistan with his Special Forces unit.
